STORY
Elder Ella L. Harley founded Eternal Light Ministries, Inc. in the year of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, 2011 under the name Eternal Light Church of God in Christ, Inc. The first worship service was held in Pastor Harley’s home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Sunday, December 11, 2011, with eleven (11) members present. Worship services were held at this location for eight (8) months.
On August 1, 2012, the church relocated to Margate, Florida, and was incorporated on February 20, 2012. Worship services were held at the Margate location for seven (7) years, and in 2016, the church changed its name to Eternal Light Ministries, Inc. On December 7, 2018, the church moved into its current location at 3021 NW 12th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.
Our founding members are Elder Ella L. Harley, Reverend Betty Williams, Sister Kia K. Goodwin, Sister Michelle L. Nixon, and Deaconess Kisa L. Permenter.
This church is comprised of persons who profess a personal faith and belief in the Lord, Jesus Christ; have received baptism in a church according to the New Testament, and actively follow the Lord, Jesus Christ in discipleship.
We, as members of Eternal Light Ministries, Inc., give this ministry to God to rule, ordain, guide, equip, and Shepherd as His own. We are grateful to God for all He has done and will continue to do within this ministry.

-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
-
We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
-
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
-
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
-
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
-
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
-
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
